Rescue is Coming?

Keep praying for the orchestrating of doctor appointments. I had two possible endocrinologists lined up to see me in the next month or so. Yesterday I found out one was a terrible doctor, highly un-recommended by many. And this afternoon I heard that the other is "old school" and refuses to treat patients with test results similar to my own. But I called one more practice this afternoon in a desperate attempt. I was told the office was booked until mid-July. But they gave me the number for another practice of theirs in a city a little further away. I called.

And I have an appointment for tomorrow. Crazy. Unheard of. A total answer to my exhausted pleading with my Rescuer. So please join me in praying that the appointment tomorrow will go well and this doctor will not be "old school" but will be willing to treat my unusual case. She's from Africa--maybe she'll have mercy on my African soul :)

  1. Hey Chrissy, it's quite cool how I stumbled upon your blog.
Hope your appointment went well! I am praying for His provision over you, and I understand your frustrations of wanting to return to Uganda. I hope to see you when Sarah and I join the team in June. We shall trust God & His timing:)

  2. ...your life sounds painfully difficult my friend. I am sad you've had such a time with doctors. Who would have known...
tonight Hunter was teaching us to pray future prayers like Paul in Phil 1.3-11. I wish i could think of an extraordinary way to bless you with Love Chrissy.
All i have are this weak but Spirit inspired prayers...
I believe that God will give you what you need to believe in His mighty Power at work on earth and in the heavenly realms, on Your behalf. That you will understand and know God's deepest and most tender Love for you within your being that will enable you to and latch on to His Strength, His Love, His Perfect Timing. That You will believe your life is intimately attached to Christ Jesus, His Beloved Son. I believe that you will know that You are the Apple of God's eye and He has nothing but good in store for you and that "GOD a MOST fierce Warrior is at your side". Jer. 20. HE carries you, his beloved daughter, close to His heart. "The one the LORD loves rests between His shoulders" Deut. much love, pat
